Accident and Emergency wards have a sudden influx as people have taken to DIY. Yet the positive side is that artists out there are on the increase as well as the rate of art being sold.

London galleries are being visited more frequently with people of all types showing an interest from poor to rich English to African.

Lets just hope that as we rise from the recession we drag with it a new passion for art never seen before and the emergence of true talent unlike Tracey Emins “stained bed sheets”

It has also been reported that the price of art is lowering making it more accessbile to all in a recent article from the New York times it said.

Something which is always a winner for me when choosing a curry house is whether you can bring your own alcohol or not. As that is always the price of the drinks which causes getting the bill  to be a major dampener after a good night of food and drink.

It has been reported that since the recession began people have begun to flood the seats and wave their arms in the air at two fat ladies. It could be that they are winning cash to make up for what they are lossing as with the prices being onlya few quid a game for members and no where near as much as you would pay for even the simplest activites such as renting a couple of DVD’s and a pizza in .Only recently A woman from Rochdale has just won over £80,000 at Gala Bingo. Or is it the escapism that it gives them or the fact that there are more old people. Who knows really but whatever the reason is I am thinking of going for it big time getting me a troop of bingo winged hommies and heading down the hall on a weekely basis, just watch this space I will be a millionaire before you know it

However with cut backs they are having to put a halt on the shine an I to be honest let out a sigh of relief at this. It isn’t just big name rappers as well we have the J R clad fashion girls from the estates having to hold back from getting their hands on the new Playboy medallion. An I can see the difference already as the world thanks to the recession is becoming a better more pleasant to look at place. 

 However if you are still craving the respect of ya bredrins you can always do it on a budget….

More companies benefitting from the recession go look

The article suggest that through three stages certain companies will benefit through the recession:

• Becoming King of the world
• Buying up value
• Internal investment

Though this is a bit of a controversial point and the Torie Shadow Health secretary was just disciplined for the statement

‘Recession’s good for us – we smoke, eat and drink less’

Yet to me what he was saying made complete sense with the recent focus on people giving up cigarettes for the people who were not so bothered about health the allure of saving money by not buying them was attractive. As well as weekends out drinking going out the window in an attempt to hold on to money a little longer.

Moreover computer games sales are down which means less children are going to be just sat in front of the computer they are forced to go outside and user there imagination as well as energy.

However if you look a little closer at society the diamonds begin to shine the link above is a video showing how a college in America have been given a huge anonymous donation. In the article it reads;

 In recent weeks, at least nine American universities have received donations of well more than $1 million each from anonymous donors, the Associated Press reported. The donations ranged in size from $1.5 million for the University of North Carolina-Asheville to $8 million for Purdue University in Indiana.

Many of the donations have been thought out given to to places such as schools that are on the brink of failing with no asking of any praise.

One example is at the University of Southern Mississippi they received $6 million from an anonymous donor in March it came just at the right moment as they where failing.

This is why the term “recession angels” has been coined by the media to explain these people, which is by far more plesant than hearing about the “Money moguls”.

Also people have been visiting charity shops more in the hopes of a bargain especially in Shropshire and Flintshire

An if any of this has made you think of giving something back to society maybe just a few hours a week between shopping, eating or drinking take a look at the Oxfam website where they have loads of ways you can get involved.

The lower classes are something to be joked about, looked down on and treated as something that needs to be fixed

It makes me think back to when the new immigration minister Phil Woolas was instated and accused by the Muslim community of racist slurs, all of which was a load of rubbish of course. He highlighted in his speech as no other person in his political position before had  saying

:’Among the groups who are missing out and who suffer genuine discrimination is the white teenage underclass.

‘Such people are fashionably dismissed as “chav scum” or “trailer trash”.

Too hear this was such a refreshing change it was the only statement I had ever heard from anyone in a political position that I wanted to discuss with friends and family in a positive light.

Alistar Darling in the G20 Summit has declared that benefits will be increased so people can keep up with day to day payments. An no thought people on council estates may not need to pay of there moorgate book the next holiday they still need to make sure that there children get their new school uniform or that they can pay for the ever rising electricity bills.

Lets hope this time though the new scheme goes through as many other aimed at people with benefits tend to fail.

An overall lets hope that people realise that money is money and its something you aren’t born with yet more importantly something that allot of is not really needed to be happy.
